Recycled Woodworks is an expansion of the work that Ernie Albers and Mike Meuser do with old growth redwood in the creation of their Redwood Plank Houses.

We mill fine grained old growth redwood for use in model railroads and architectural models.

We will be making available burl and curly redwood as slabs, carving and turning material. Our new products in the coming months are based on these materials. You can learn more about us and our work by visiting YurokPlankHouse.com.

Our interests are varied, but throughout you will find an emphasis on Yurok and the broader North Coast Native American cultures. The photos below are of a custom job that we recently completed. The Yurok owner allowed us a great deal of latitude in the design of the items. The roof sections of the arbors are set at the same angles as the Redwood Plank Houses built by Yurok and several other tribes here on the North Coast.
